I’m Khadeem, a Product Designer who recently graduated with a bachelors of science in Interaction Design from Kennesaw State University. I am originally from the United States Virgin Islands but moved to Atlanta about 14 years ago. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life as I began my university journey. Of all the potential career paths I considered it was my current role as a customer service rep that highlighted what gave me most joy – the resulting feeling that came from helping my customers. I wanted a career that would enable me to help more people in a way that has an even greater impact, hence how I eventually landed on User Experience Design. There are multiple layers of human interaction in this field to facilitate getting to know a person, their needs, frustrations and goals with the end goal of providing them with a product that’ll satisfy their needs.

During my time at Kennesaw State University I have successfully developed interfaces with a strong focus on user needs. I have years of experience with working within teams and with other individuals of differing backgrounds. My technical strengths include multiple design programs like Figma and I learn new software and principles at a rapid pace.

When i’m not designing, I like to spend my time learning how to play new songs on the piano. Its been a secondary passion of mine for most my life. I’ve also been an avid gamer for the past 20 years. Some of my favorite games to play are Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, and Apex Legends to name a few.
